Thursday & Friday - Today students continued watching/blogging about internet safety videos; then students visited websites of other students to comment on their "internet safety" blog posts. Make sure your posts are school appropriate (disciplinary measure still apply!).

Wednesday - Hump Day Challenge - create a pivot table that pulls out all of the assignments for which you have a "0". Then continue watching and blogging about internet safety videos.

Monday
& Tuesday - These days we used our "My Grades" spreadsheets from last week to do a class assignment (adding up all of the grades by Category). Then students watched the next Spreadsheets video to learn an easier way to do this (using "Pivot Tables"). Students then watched and blogged about internet safety. Note: every time you watch a different safety video, blog about it. Your blog should include a link to the video, and the blog post should be categorized as "safety videos".

Friday - We start by watching & discussing a video about internet safety. Then students continued with "Ribbon Hero". If you finished with "Ribbon Hero", check out a sample student website.

Wednesday & Thursday -
Students will complete all levels of "Ribbon Hero" to learn more tips/tricks for using Microsoft Office products.
  • Every time you get the "Level Up" notification, use the "Snipping Tool" (in the start menu) to capture the image
  • Save this image into a folder on your H: drive called "Ribbon Hero"
  • When you finish all 6 levels, upload this folder to your Google Drive and share it with me.

Tuesday
- Students finished their Google Drawing, turned them in for voting at the end of the period. Finished early? Play "Ribbon Hero" in Microsoft Word. At the end of class we went on another virtual field trip (per 6 zoo, per 8 zoo) and voted (per 6 votes,  per 8 votes)  for our favorite animals.
